He started with the team in the year 2014 where they finished second in the straight league and also came fourth position in 2015 season before he parted way with the team in 2016.
Sanusi reunited with Pelican Stars of Calabar in 2018 and has really enjoying his stay since then.
Coach Olaleke disclosed that his life is at stake and won't be able to continue with the Calabar based team.
He stated that "The problem now is that, the pressure is too much from their people and my life is not safe, I have no problem with the management and the Technical director, coach Egan and the players."
