Nigerian Goal Machine Activated In Norway



Rasheedat Ajibade scores in a 7 goal triller which saw Avaldsnes defeat  Lyn in the Toppsetien

League week one(1)  at the Avaldnes Idrettssente Stadium saturday 4th of July 2020.

Rasheedat Ajibade is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Avaldsnes IL in the

Toppserien and the Nigeria women's national football team. Ajibade represented Nigeria at age

grade competitions, before making her competitive debut for the senior team at the 2018 WAFU

Cup in Côte d'Ivoire and in the last world cup finals in France 2019.


Rasheedat, since moving from Fc Robo  of  Lagos to the Norwegian side Avaldsnes, though have

been performing satisfactorily, yet has on many occasion taken to her instagram handle to make

her eagerness to start playing and scoring again known with the caption "who took my goal

scoring boot?"


The 20 year old Nigerian  scored a brace in the 5 - 2 deafeat of lyn on saturday. Emma Stolen Godo

scored thr first goal in the  16th minutes for the away side, but Elise Thornsnes replied with a goal

for the home team in the 29th minute, before the Nigerian international Rasheedat Ajibade

established dominace on Lyn with the second goal in the 43rd minutes.


Her goal created more woes on lyn as they struggle to go past the mildfield as Ylinn Tennnebo

slaps them with another goal just before half time in the 45th minutes.

The second half saw three more goals, one in the 48th minutes by Trine Skjelstad Jensen for Lyn,

and goals from Olaug Tvedten in the 56th minutes and Elise Thorsnes in the 61st minutes for

Avaldsnes.


Avaldsnes now sit top of the table with as Sandviken remain second with a 3 goal difference with

the table toppers.
